FIELD TRIPS / YOUTH GROUPS

Ready to plan your field trip to the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum? Here is what you should expect:

Indoor exhibits explore Mississippi’s military contributions, beginning with the war of 1812 and ending with the Global War on Terrorism. In the outdoor vehicle park, students will experience tanks, cannons, helicopters, and other aircraft.

We recommend planning to spend 1 to 1.5 hours for both indoor and outdoor exhibits. Groups can be split between the indoor exhibits and outdoor vehicle park to make the trip run smoothly.

We ask that all groups book their trips in advance – Request a group tour here.

HOMESCHOOL DAYS

The Mississippi Armed Forces Museum offers enrichment for homeschool families once a month in the Grand Gallery from 10:00 am – 12:00pm during the school year. Participation is free. Please contact the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum for more information.
