OUR MISSION IS TO COLLECT, PRESERVE, AND HONOR THE STORIES OF MISSISSIPPI’S HEROES
A single story of freedom can change a life for good. Thousands of stories of freedom can change a nation for the better. At the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum, we amplify the whispers of our unsung heroes. We protect the precious artifacts that hold our history. We keep our veterans’ stories alive. We make the historical personal as we connect past, present, and future. A brighter, more beautiful future rests on our ability to preserve and reckon with our past. Here, we honor our heroes. Here, we defend our stories.
